Santal Shave Cream - Aromatherapy for his face.

Our new and lavish shaving cream, leaves skin smooth, glowing, and richly scented with our favorite Sandalwood. (At Nature's Gift we believe all our men should smell like Sandalwood!)   We have a full page of information, including all ingredients here.   We love it, our menfolk love it.

For years I've searched for the "right" formula to add our precious Sandalwood oils for the men in our lives.  Finally we found it! Without  heavy waxes to clog pores or too many oils to leave his skin greasy, this nutrient rich cream softens and prepares skin for shaving without causing irritation or dryness.  In addition, it penetrates the upper layers of the skin with ingredients that hydrate, protect against free-radical damage, regenerate collagen, balance sebum production and reduce any inflammation to maintain the skin at maximum health.

Excellent for all skin type.  Our human guinea pigs loved the shaves they got, and the way their faces felt after shaving.  We loved the way they smelled.   

Sandalwood Splash Aftershave

An aromatic, moisturizing splash designed to soothe and tone his skin.  To be used after shaving for healing skin relief.  Contains, among other goodies, Calendula, Lavender, Witch Hazel, Aloe, Glycerine, a bit of alcohol for quick drying, and, of course, lavishly scented with Sandalwood essential oil and Sandalwood Absolute.

Sandalwood Shave Soother

A blend of healing Sandalwood essential oil, in a base of Jojoba, Calendula infused oil, and Vitamin E, to soothe sensitive skin after shaving. I have been told that both Jojoba and Sandalwood can help heal ingrown hairs. Several of our male clients swear that our "Shave Soother" is the only thing that makes it possible for them to shave with a razor...one man we all know and love had to resort to cutting his beard with scissors, blade shaving gave him such dreadful ingrown hairs. He won't be without it.   At any rate, it will soothe irritation from shaving, and leave your man smelling wonderful!

(I've been reminded that the Shave Soother is wonderful for women shaving their legs.) (And my friend Penelope used this Shave Soother on weeping eczema and saw wonderful results.)

Acne - Clarifying Soap and Gel

Our Clarifying Synergy is designed to treat acne outbreaks. This gentle blend of Helichrysum italicuum (anti-inflammatory) German Chamomile CO2 (more anti-inflammatory), Manuka (strong but gentle anti-bacterial action) French High Altitude Lavender (the best around skincare healer I know of) and Rose Geranium (for sebum balancing.) The clients who have tried this synergy (in various modalities) are reporting wonderful results.

Clarifying Anti-acne Soap - organic skincare for him

Our Clarifying Synergy in a base of gentle liquid castile soap.

This special liquid soap base allows the healing qualities of our precious essential oils to come through, since they are not subject to the stresses of the saponification process, as they would be in a solid soap. No artificial colors or preservatives to trigger possible irritation or allergic responses, just pure organic liquid castile (created from organic Olive, Palm and  Coconut oils) and our wonderfully effective essential oils. We recommend following with one of our healing hydrosols to further tone and condition the skin. Please note, some Rosacea sufferers have also reported excellent results from using this soap.

Clarifying Treatment Gel Roll On

Recent research in Australia shows that the combination of essential oils and Aloe Vera Gel has a more healing effect on acne than does either alone. So we added our successful Clarifying Synergy to our organically grown aloe vera gel and packaged in a convenient roll on applicator.

Now you can apply it just to the 'trouble spots'.  Our human guinea pigs were really impressed by this new formulation.  Nothing is an overnight success, but users found a major improvement over the course of a few days.

We suggest using our Liquid Clarifying Soap to cleanse, tone with an appropriate hydrosol (perhaps Tea Tree or one of the Lavenders - preferably Spike Lavender)  followed by application of the Gel. 

SHOWER GELS

Unscented Shower Gel

For those who simply don't have time to luxuriate in a Bliss Bath, we have designed our moisturizing Shower Gel. A gentle blend of saponified oils, enriched with extra glycerine to leave your skin soft and moisturized.

Either use 'unscented' or add from 0.5 to 2 ml of your favorite essential oil, absolute or blend, stir well, and enjoy!  (note, you could safely add up to 3 mls of any non-irritating oil, but we find that the smaller amount is usually sufficient.) So the instructions should really read "to taste."

CALENDULA REPAIR CREAM

Just in time for winter our richest and most healing hand, face, and body creme.    This rich creamy lotion is a soft golden color from the Calendula CO2 extract. (Calendula has been known for milennia as a wound healing agent and soothing anti-inflammatory.)  This gentle healing lotion is safe for the most sensitive skin, but packed with some of our most powerful skin repairing and revitalizing botanicals.

Muscle Ease

A unique massage blend for overworked muscles. A blend of pain relieving oils, Lavandin, Ginger, and Eucalyptus. ( I recently discovered this is WONDERFUL for the aches and pains of the flu; yes, of course I discovered it the hard way!)

"Marge's Miracle Blend"

This blend of Black Pepper, Helichrysum, and Lavandin Super (our Backease Synergy) diluted in St. John's Wort, has become known by friends as the ULTIMATE pain reliever. It's been used successfully to ease the pain of Carpal Tunnel, sprained ankles, sciatica, sore backs, and even before and after knee replacement surgery.  It's become our "standard recommendation" for any sort of nerve or joint pain.

We hadn't quite decided on a name so started calling it "Marge's Miracle Blend" because Marge designed it, and people say it performs miracles!

We may rename it - but we've not found a name that does it justice.

Sunburn Soother

Our hints and tips files and old newsletters are filled with sunburn remedies shared by our clients.  The common threads are lavender, Helichrysum and one of the "Blue" essential oils, with either a rich carrier oil or aloe vera. We've combined the best of all in our new Sunburn Soother.   Healing Aloe Vera to ease the pain, Jojoba to keep the skin moisturized, and Helichrysum, Lavender, and German Chamomile to ease pain and relieve the inflammation.  We all love the feel of this blend of totally organic ingredients.  It absorbs quickly without any stickiness, and leaves the skin feeling cool and smooth.  Shake well before using, since there are no emulsifiers added.

Our Sadie got a really nasty burn from picking up a too hot cup of coffee. I have never seen a burn-blister that looked worse.  She tried our Sunburn Soother on it.  Her comments:

Skeeter Beater

A blend of our Lemon scented Tea Tree (the most powerful natural insect repellant that I know of), Atlas Cedarwood, and our Sumatran Patchouli. Friends have raved about the success they've had keeping fleas off dogs, horseflies off horses, and mosquitoes off themselves with this blend. At a recent Health Festival, Debi discovered that a band of diluted Skeeter Beater around each ankle kept the Chiggers from attacking.

Add a few drops of the synergy to the pool of melted wax in a patio candle, use in an aromalamp or diffuser, or just add to your favorite massage base to keep the mosquitos away. The scent of the blend is sweetly lemon, with an earthy undertone. Yummy and smile bringing even if it served no useful purpose. Read some clients' experience with our Skeeter Beater Blend.

Available in an undiluted synergy, body oil (diluted in Jojoba), and in an Aloe Gel base. Sometimes the oil based blend is just not comfortable to wear in extreme heat and humidity; while an alcohol based dilution doesn't last long at all. The Skeeter Beater Gel is much more comfortable in the heat, but not as long lasting as the oil based Body Oil. If you are unfamiliar with aromatherapy or how to dilute essential oils properly, please buy the body oil or the gel. They ready to use right out of the bottle.  We truly don't recommend making a body spray out of the undiluted synergy; in our experience a waterbased spray seems to need re-applying more frequently than either the oil based or the gel.

(I'd recommend the Aloe Vera based Gel. Most men seem to prefer it's texture.)
