My Book -  Well, two weeks ago I got my first copy.  (They left out the dedication I had written, thanking so many of my mentors, and they cut my chapter on Hydrosols.)  At any rate,  as of the end of last week the bulk of the copies were sitting in Customs. Birth Announcement:

Victor Gunner Lief Clark was born Sunday morning, around 4:00 a.m. in Nashville.  9 lb 1 oz, 21 inches long... lots of dark hair, very dark blue grey eyes (he's going to have his daddy's eyes, long long long fingers and toes.  David and Candice were exhausted; big sister Chelsea seemed more interested in the "It's a Boy" balloon.  There's picture or two posted here.

Recipes for Romance:

The following are from two books by Elisabeth Millar, both designed for romantic aromatic use,  "The Fragrant Veil" and "Releasing Aphrodite" (Releasing Aphrodite is reviewed (and recommended) on our Amazon links page.  Click the highlighted link to read my review...abut the seventh one down)

"Sugar and Spice"  an aroma lamp blend

1 drop Rose Otto or Rose Absolute
2 drops Clove
3 drops Mandarine   

recommended for "not so innocent flirtations" - said to increase the suspense between the spoken and the unspoken.  Feminine, sexy, naughty and nice.

Scented Body Rub - to massage him:

3 drops Sandalwood
3 drops Frankincense    added to one tablespoon of your favorite carrier oil.  (The author recommends Sweet Almond Oil. We vastly prefer Fractionated Coconut Oil.)

Scented Body Rub - to massage her:

1 drop Jasmine (we'd use Auriculatum or Grandiflora)
3 drops Ylangylang Extra
Add to your favorite Carrier Oil. (See comments above.)

The following delightful blend was posted by my friend Stacy on a Yahoo email group called ATFE2 (Aromatherapy for Everyone)  (Shared with her permission!)

She calls it "Lush body Blend"

To 100 mls (3.3 fl oz)of your favorite massage/body oil add:

10 drops Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum grandiflorum)
10 drops Ylang Ylang Extra (Cananga odorata)
8 drops Frankincense (Boswellia frereana) (Could easily substitute the CO2 if that's what you have on hand.
6 drops Rose Absolute (Rosa damascena)
6 drops Sandalwood  (Santalum album)

I would be tempted to add just one drop of Black Pepper EO (piper nigrum) to that...just to up the ante a wee bit.  It is a rich, lush and sensual blend.
