Found in Inventory - Some bulk bottles, some products that were poured for wholesale orders that never finalized, some products that we had discontinued.  Some atomizers and other packaging that we don't/can't use.  All available (in very limited quantities) on our new and special page.

Deja Vu all over again.  Last year our "return to business" following the holidays was delayed by the installation of our new shipping system.  Orders that should have shipped on the 2nd or 3rd of January sometimes didn't ship until nearly the end of the month.  This year, we thought things would be different.  Some of you already know, the new year did not start off smoothly. The shipping system gave us multiple problems, allowing only a small handful of orders to ship between the 2nd and the 7th.  Today, however (Tuesday the 8th) the system seems to be functioning flawlessly, and all backlogged orders are being labeled and posted even as I type.  Again, we apologize for the delays.  We normally do better than this. 

A brand new synergy - SleepEase - because I really got tired of the scent of our SleepyTime.  This is a sweetly citrus scented blend of Lavandin Super, Green Mandarine, Roman Chamomile and Sweet Marjoram - that tends to put all of us in a doze when it is being blended and poured.  See it first on our new and special page.

CHAI SPICE - I was asked to come up with a "kit" of our spice oils, for perfumery and massage blending.  We've named the kit Chai Spice and, as long as it remains on our specials page, may be ordered with any Nature's Gift discount or promotional code. (You do know that contents of our special KITS page may not be discounted, so once the Chai Spice kit shows up there, no discounts will apply.)

News - MY BOOK!

The publisher says the printer is FINALLY shipping the first run. The publisher expects to receive the shipment on the 9th of January, and will send my handful of copies. (No, I've not seen it yet either!)  I am trying to arrange how we can offer it via Nature's Gift. If all else fails, of course, we can do a link through to Amazon, but I'd rather have them here, so I can autograph them if you want.  (By the way, the "blurb" on Amazon has nothing to do with the content of the book.  The publisher submitted it prior to receipt of the manuscript. I am trying to get the Amazon review changed to reflect reality, but it is slow going.)

I just read this quote from Perfumer and Flavorist, from an article "in praise of synthetics" regarding what would happen if the "industry" were to stop the use of synthetic fragrance chemicals:

I don't THINK so!!!!  Seems to me we could very easily continue without even noticing - except that I wouldn't have to search out unscented laundry detergent any more.  My linens would continue to be scented with lavender, my morning shower would still be aromatically invigorating, my evening bath would still be aromatic and relaxing.

New Formula - Assertion/Self Esteem

I came across this - somewhere... years ago.  It's an aromatically delightful blend, said to foster feelings of assertiveness and self-esteem. (Perhaps a change we want to encourage in this new year?)

8 parts Orange
6 parts Grapefruit
4 parts Black Pepper
6 parts Cedarwood

On a scent strip, it smells delightful.  I'd want to use it only in the lamp or diffuser - a LOT of skin irritants in this one!
