Nature's Gift "Get Ready For Summer" NewsletterSpring is lovely here in middle Tennessee, but it is all too fleeting. We are already promised a foretaste of Summer's heat, which prompted us to put together an array of "getting ready for Summer" goodies.This newsletter contains:
SUNBURN SOOTHER: Our hints and tips files and old newsletters are filled with sunburn remedies shared by our clients. The common threads are Lavender, Helichrysum and one of the "Blue" essential oils, with either a rich carrier oil or aloe vera. We've combined the best of all in our new Sunburn Soother. Healing Aloe Vera to ease the pain, Jojoba to keep the skin moisturized, and Helichrysum, Lavender, and German Chamomile to ease pain and relieve the inflammation. We all love the feel of this blend of totally organic ingredients. It absorbs quickly without any stickiness, and leaves the skin feeling cool and smooth. Peppermint, Rosemary, a bit of Tea Tree to leave tired feet rested and invigorated, a new salt scrub also scented with our REVIVE! blend to smoothe away rough dry skin, and, for the final touches, a deluxe pedicure wand and special scrub brush. New FRANKINCENSE HYDROSOL: I've searched for years trying to find a Frankincense Hydrosol that kept the aroma of the resin it is distilled from. This one is sparkling and alive. If you love Frankincense, this is a must have. Wonderful for skin care, for a calming and grounding room spray, as an aid to meditation, there are no end to its uses. BACK IN STOCK SOAPS: Three favorites - Mille Fleur, a rich bouquet of Lavender, Rose Geranium, Chamomile and other traditional "grandma's garden" floral essential oils to provide a pampering face or shower soap, designed to help balance combination skin or soothe dry skin. Some people say it has helped with acne and other skin problems. Reunit, mild goatsmilk soap lavished with Neroli, Vetiver and other essential oils designed to nurture mature skin. This is my favorite of all the scented soaps we've offered. (T likes to have her husband use it, and follow with a cologne made from our Reunit Synergy.) And, finally, our ugliest soap, Calendula Chamomile Castile. If you have sensitive or irritated skin you won't CARE how ugly this soap is. Your face will thank you. Some natural products are believed to offer protection from UV-A and UV-B rays, for those who choose not to use commercial sunblocks. Among the possible natural sunscreens are Macadamia Nut Oil, Red Raspberry Seed Oil, Shea Butter, Heliocarrot Extract, and Seabuckthorn Berry extract. DIFFUSER SALE: None of us know why someone ordered so many of these electric aroma lamps. A sample might have been worth buying, but several cases?
