In a small spray bottle pour 4 ozs of purified water
add 30 drops of cinnamon leaf
 20 drops of clove oil
 20 drops of sweet orange oil
10 drops of cedarwood oil

I like this blend in the aromalamp.  It's a wonderful holiday blend if you are tired of the evergreens.

NEW PRODUCTS: Bath and Body, and Skincare -

I've been making soap again, brought the latest batch in, and put it on the kitchen table.  And Debbie T. came right into the office and thanked me for the fudge.  It does smell good enough to eat:  "Orange Fudge Truffle" Goatsmilk Soap.  Redolent with cocoa butter for all of its skin-softening richness this cream and chocolate covered bar smells like one of those round "chocolate oranges" we sometimes can find in the candy aisle.  The perfect gift for the chocoholic ... (and I'm just wondering- - Chocolate is supposed to be an aphrodisiac...hmm.)

To go with it: Please Don't Eat The Body Balm.  This creamy blend originated as a Belly Balm for several pregnant friends.  Will it prevent Stretch Marks?  I doubt it. In total honesty, NOTHING will prevent stretch marks.  The tendency to get them is hereditary; if you are going to get them, you will.  But, what this creamy blend of Cocoa Butter and Virgin Coconut Oil, with just a tiny touch of Mandarine will do is keep dry taut itchy skin smooth, moisturized, and comfortable.   We first created it as a belly balm for pregnant mommas.  Other friends wanted to use it on winter-dry legs and arms.  Available in two forms.  A large jar of "Please Don't Eat the Belly Balm" on our Mother and Baby page, (http://www.naturesgift.com/aromatherapybaby.htm)  and a smaller jar of 'body balm' on our skincare page.<http://www.naturesgift.com/aromatherapyskincare.htm>  The scent is very similar to the Orange Truffle bar above, and I think the two would make a wonderful gift.

Slight shipping delay: Our color printer went out on Friday morning.  It is *supposed* to be repaired Tuesday afternoon.  We can't package or print labels for the new soap or the new balms until the printer is repaired.  Any orders containing either of the above will NOT ship before Friday.

Thanksgiving Pie Recipe

reprinted from Thanksgiving '00:

Quick and Easy lemon pie recipe, when you don't feel like
grating fresh lemons (I always end up scraping my
knuckles on the grater !)

From my favorite Australian Distiller:


Crust:
2 cups crushed biscuit,   (he means Cookies for our American readers.)
          I'd use either graham crackers or gingersnaps.
125 gram butter.        (4.4 0unces)

Melt butter, add to crushed biscuits. Press into springform pan.

250 gms cream cheese,  (8 ounces)
1 tin sweetemed condensed milk,
half cup of lemon juice.
Beat cream cheese, gradually add condensed milk, then lemon juice.
Add 1-2 drops Bc oil (Lemon Myrtle), stir. Pour into shell and chill.

No, this is not advocating internal use of Bc oil - it's a flavouring,
and we only try it at home. And I like it.

(my note...I've used both our organic lemon rind oil and the
Lemon Myrtle oil in lemon meringue pies...both are wonderful...
and save my knuckles!)

AUTUMN BLEND

Reprinting June Curtice's Autumn Blend recipe - for those who are not in the mood for holiday blends:

Price Increase

We recently found a lower cost source for the nebulizing diffusers we've offered
for years, and, of course, lowered our price so you could share in the savings. 
We have not been pleased with the quality of the new diffusers, returned all we
had on hand, and have restocked with our "old faithful" Amrita's.  We regretfully
had to take the price back to the earlier levels, but we feel that reliable quality is
preferable to lower cost.  We hope you'll agree.
