Synergistic blends for a healthy house

Skeeter Beater

A blend of our Lemon scented Tea Tree (the most powerful natural insect repellant that I know of), Atlas Cedarwood, and our Sumatran Patchouli. Friends have raved about the success they've had keeping fleas off dogs, horseflies off horses, and mosquitoes off themselves with this blend. At a recent Health Festival, Debi discovered that a band of diluted Skeeter Beater around each ankle kept the Chiggers from attacking.

Add a few drops of the synergy to the pool of melted wax in a patio candle, dissolve in alcohol and add distilled water for a spritzer, or just add to your favorite massage base to keep the mosquitos away. The scent of the blend is sweetly lemon, with an earthy undertone. Yummy and smile bringing even if it served no useful purpose. Read some clients' experience with our Skeeter Beater Blend.

Available in an undiluted synergy, body oil (diluted in Jojoba), and in an Aloe Gel base. Sometimes the oil based blend is just not comfortable to wear in extreme heat and humidity; while an alcohol based dilution doesn't last long at all. The Skeeter Beater Gel is much more comfortable in the heat, but not as long lasting as the oil based Body Oil. If you are unfamiliar with aromatherapy or how to dilute essential oils properly, please buy the body oil or the gel. They ready to use right out of the bottle.

Germ Beater

We don't get many colds and flus and viruses around here, thanks to the proven antibacterial and antiviral qualities of the oils we work with daily. But if someone is feeling like a virus is trying to attack, I add a bit of this and a smidge of that to the diffuser. And when cleaning, I spray countertops and surfaces with "a bit of this and a smidge of that"...it makes the house smell bright and fresh, and keeps bacteria and molds and spores at bay. Anne and I finally sat down, measured out the bits and smidges and came up with our Germ Beater synergy. The fresh clean scent of Lemon Myrtle, touched with Tea Tree and Lemon scented Tea Tree, Ravensara for its antiviral potential, Cedarwood, Pine, Lemon Eucalyptus for molds and spores, and the powerfully germ killing Cinnamon Bark. This is not a blend to use on the skin, it will burn, and contains a known sensitizer. It is designed for the diffuser, or to be diluted into a room and countertop spray.

Germ Beater Room and Counter Spray

A simple to use room and counter spray. This is our first offering of a "premixed" spray. If you want to introduce a friend to the antibacterial effects of the oils, but don't trust them with an undiluted powerful blend, this might be the perfect alternative. We use it for cleaning kitchen and bathroom, wiping down counters, cleaning up after a pet who forgets his/her manners, as a general air freshener...all sorts of nasty things get banished, and replaced by a clean lemony scent that brings in the sunshine. AND kills germs, viruses, fungus, molds and spores...you name it!

Germ Beater Spice

Add some Spice to your life, with our new Germbeater Spice Synergy.  In total honesty, some of us just got tired of the familiar Germbeater.  We wanted something other than Lemon in the air.  So we added some Cinnamon Bark, some Cassia, some Clove and came up with a spicy brew that will kill any germ brave enough to show it's face around here.  (Do germs have faces?)  It is offered at the same price as our traditional Germbeater and the same warnings apply.  This is a blend of powerfully irritating oils and needs to be used with caution.  Diffuse it or dilute it into a water based spray. Avoid skin contact.

Germ Beater Spice Room and Counter Spray

Our traditional lemon scented Germbeater Spray has always been popular.  But we fell in love with the Germbeater Spice Synergy, and, in response to many requests, have formulated another room spray.  The same powerful anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral essential oils in a spicy blend for fall.  Please remember to use this in the air, and on your countertops, but never on your skin!

Fresh Aire

When you just need to clear the air...last evening's gathering leave a pall of smoke hanging in your living room? Our "Fresh Aire" synergy is the solution. A light hearted blend of sunny Lemon, Bergamot Mint and our green scented Himalayan Lavender. A few drops in the aromalamp leaves the air of the room fresh and sunny, and leaves you light-hearted and focused.  At one time we called this "SmokeEater" because it does a wonderful job of clearing smoke from a room.  But the old name seemed too limiting, so we have renamed it.

It is a delightfully uplifting air freshener, available as a synergy for the aromalamp or diffuser, and our brand new Fresh Aire room and fabric or room spray. 

Deanna from Michigan recently wrote: "Previously  I received a sample of Smoke Eater and after I used it I was thinking, "this shouldn't be called Smoke Eater at all."  It is so fresh and so clean and light!  I am so glad that it is getting a name change because it would make such a great stocking stuffer for all my friends, not just those battling smoke.  Also, this blend amps up my concentration and helps me get to work when I am not in the mood or feel exhausted, fatigued or distracted. I love it!.
