AMULETS

The amulets all come packaged in the attractive box shown in the picture. The glass vial contains three replacement wooden "wicks" for changing the oil or blend. (I'd suggest, if you are changing what you choose to wear in it, cleaning the inside with some alcohol. Best way we know to remove traces of essential oil or absolute.)  The artist who provides these suggests that you retain the three wicks and use for different 'categories' of oils, ie, one for citrus, one for florals, etc.

Lapis Lazuli

Lapis is reputed to bring about harmony in relationships. Some sources say it opens inner awareness and brings strength, and vitality, emotional healing and stability. Said to aid in  meditation and eliminating old and negative emotions.

Said by some to be the stone of tranquility, improving clarity of thought and increasing desire for social interaction. Said to enhance creativity and communications.

I wear a lot of light green Jade jewelry, and find that this lovely Amulet works beautifully with that.

Tiger Eye

These are lovely brown and black stones, with threads of gold veins throughout.

Tiger Eye is reputed to strengthen convictions and promote creativity and new ideas.  (I have a tigereye necklace that somehow has always represented Nature's Gift to me...it's a "work stone"... and so much I have to do here has to do with coming up with fresh ideas. Whoda thunk!)   It is also said to provide relief from several chronic physical conditions, including bronchial asthma and high blood pressure.

Rose Quartz

We received one of these as a sample, and I claimed it for my own. Delicately colored (I was reminded by the creator that they add no color to their gemstones, and that much Rose Quartz on the commercial market is artificially colored...who knew?) These gems range from a very pale  pink to an milky offwhite.

Rose Quartz is said to be the stone of unconditional love. It opens the heart chakra to all forms of love: self love, family love, platonic love and romantic love. Rose Quartz has excellent protection energies during pregnancy and childbirth. The elevated energy of Quartz gives Rose Quartz the property of enhancing love in virtually any situation. It also brings forgiveness, gentleness and tolerance. It is also said to ease overwhelming or unreasonable feelings of guilt and self blame.

Please note that because of the extremely fragile nature of Rose Quartz, the process of drilling the amulet may cause tiny flaws in the edges of the cylinder. These are characteristic of this particular piece.

Black Agate Amulet

Black Agate is said to aid in balancing yin/yang energy, courage, protection and  healing.   Associated with the root chakra, Black Agate is said to be grounding and calming. It is reputed to dispel negativity, protects from stress and bad dreams. It is recommended for protection, strength, and courage.
 

New AMETHYST Amulet

Shades of violet and purple, with touches of brown or white marble this healing stone.

Traditionally Amethyst is said to have prolific healing powers which can be characterized as purifying, pacifying and transitional. Amethyst has the ability to transform lower energies into higher and acts as a healer at all levels of mind, body and spirit. The healing powers of Amethyst date back as far as the ancient Greeks who believed that Amethyst protected from the intoxicating effects of alcohol. The word "amethyst" is of Geek origin and is translated as- "amethystus" meaning not drunken, or intoxicated ("-methystos" from "methyein" or intoxicated, "methy" = wine).  

Amethyst is said to calm and protect the mind. It soothes those who have engaged in constant rigorous mental activity. It has been deemed "nature's tranquilizer" by many healers because of it's effectiveness in relaxing not only the mind but also the nervous system. Those who wear amethyst jewelry and who have been recommended to wear this stone for healing purposes have done so because of its tranquil qualities and it's ability reduce negativity and alleviate anxiety.

ESSENDULUMS

Unisex and natural, perfect for casual wear. Carved from precious wood sources, a portion of the cost of each going to support indigenous peoples around the globe in their fight to preserve their natural resources, via fair trade. Unlike the amphoras above, the Essendulums contain sealed vials, suitable to open and experience a favorite oil at will.

Several styles are offered, carved from two varying wood types: tulipwood or glowing cocobolo. (At this point, all we have left in stock are Tulipwood...which ranges in shade from pale blond to deep auburn.)  Simple, smooth and comforting, each essendulum is uniquely crafted giving the wearer an opportunity to appreciate each grain of the polished precious wood.
