BLENDS FOR EMOTIONAL BALANCE Nature's Gift

Aromatherapy, the art of healing with pure essential oils, can have powerful emotional effects, soothing stress and tension, easing fears and anxieties, and comforting grief. These are some blends we've found especially effective.
Please note that our Synergies are pure, undiluted blends of our natural Essential Oils. Our "Anointing Oils" are diluted with Jojoba Oil, and are ideal for wear as pulsepoint perfumes, adding to the bath, or further diluting in carrier oil for a full body massage.

BurnOut:

A breathe of fresh air that clears away the cobwebs in your mind and combats mental and emotional fatigue. Available as an inhaler or Synergy. This blend has proven very popular with our client Massage Therapists for use with their Type A clients. Available as Synergy only. This synergy contains a known sensitizer and should be used in the diffuser or aromalamp. Not recommended for use directly on the body.

Citrus Smile Synergy

A blend of Citrus Oils tested and shown to ease symptoms of depression. This blend of Organic Bergamot, Lemon and Orange Essential oils will bring instant sunshine to dark difficult days. 5 mls

Comfort In The Storm

For those days when the world is just too much to bear. Our richest and most comforting blend of nurturing Jasmine, calming Neroli, and uplifting Bergamot. Available as Synergy and Anointing Oil. Perfect as a personal perfume, or add it to the bath. An intensely feminine fragrance.

DeStress

Relax stressed muscles and nerves with our new DeStress Massage Blend. Energizing Pink Grapefruit, pain relieving and relaxing High Altitude Lavender, and gently warming Coriander combine to make a massage blend that relaxes the body and refreshes the spirit. A base of Fractionated Coconut Oil guarantees it will give just the right amount of "slip" for a massage or backrub. (Some of us get our legs and ankles rubbed with this wonderful concoction...sheer bliss!) We had planned to only offer DESTRESS in a massage blend, however we've been reminded that there isn't always someone around to rub your back, and were asked to offer it as a synergy, for inhalation or the bath. Because we like to make you happy, we are now offering both. (But we all prefer the massage blend!)

Focus 5 mls

A synergy for mental focus and alertness. Basil (the best mental stimulant I know of), Clove Bud, Lemon, Peppermint, Pine, Rosemary, and Vetiver (for grounding.). A wonderful study blend, good for the desk, refreshing for mental fatigue, yet not as pysically stimulating as Fog Cutter, nor as relaxing as our Burn Out blend. Light and fresh in aroma, this is the blend that sits in the lamp over my desk as I type this.

FogCutter :

Our most energizing blend! (One client calls it her Superwoman blend) Designed for the diffuser or lamp, this synergy of Pink Grapefruit with a coniferous base seems to clear the mental fog and energize me to get up and moving, even to tackle the work that I've procrastinated on for weeks. Also marvelous in a hanging clay pot in the car to keep the driver awake and alert. Available as Synergy only, because I don't recommend this blend for direct use on the skin, although some clients rave about it for a detoxing bath or shower.

Harmony

Our Harmony blend came about initially as we were designing a formula for helping balance combination skin. While using the Harmony skincare products we were really drawn to their subtle fragrance, as well as their skincare benefits, so we decided to adjust the formula for the diffuser. Diffusing it makes me feel balanced and centered, and if I leave a room where it is diffusing and come back in, I get this sense of coming home, of comfort, of peacefulness…a quiet contentment. Aromatically pleasing, it is not a high note or a base note but a true heart note, clear and balanced, as if it is opening its arms and inviting you in to a place of well-being or enveloping your doubts and frustrations. It feels like the Fragonia ™ and the Zdravetz are bookends holding the entire aroma together harmoniously. Available in a 5 ml synergy for diffusing or skin-safe anointing oil. Also available in our various combination skin products in the Harmony line. A fragrant blend of Fragonia™, Lavender, Neroli, Sandalwood, Rosewood, Cape Chamomile, Carrot Seed, Rose Geranium and Zdravetz Essential Oils. Relax Synergy

As part of Christi’s training at the Institute for Integrative Aromatherapy, a number of case studies were required. One of the blends she formulated has taken on a life of its own and we wanted to make available this calming blend of Green Mandarine, Fragonia, & Lavandin Super. Originally designed to help a client with anxiety, stress issues and overall wellbeing, it became clear very quickly this blend is very helpful for those experiencing problems going to sleep & staying asleep. Yes, we do offer our Sleep Ease Synergy which has benefitted many people over the years and is similar in nature, but Relax is a blend which might be nice to rotate with the Sleep Ease or as an alternative to it. Relax has a very pleasant aroma as the Fragonia seems to meld the Green Mandarine & Lavandin together quite nicely, like humming a happy tune, according to Christi. Dr. Jane Buckle recommends Lavandin Super as the best choice for sleep blends & we experimented with many of our Lavenders but kept coming back to the Lavandin for best results. Relaxing for body, mind, & spirit. We do not recommend using the blend in the car or at work but at home when you want to remove stress, calm & center yourself, & at night before bedtime. We use it in an aromastone on a night table & have found we not only go to sleep quickerwe sleep soundly throughout the night. Not for use on skin undiluted.

Reunité

Our premier blend. A warm blend of rare Neroli, grounding Vetiver, uplifting citrus, with touches of sandalwood and frankincense. Soothe feelings of anxiety with a Reunite bath, or scent your surroundings and yourself with its calming essence. This is my personal blend that I wear during situations that are apt to induce anxiety or panic attacks. It allows me to breeze through situations which used to overwhelm me. Available as Synergy and Anointing Oil .

SOLACE

The blend we developed to ease the sorrows caused by those directly affected by the events of September 11, or other, more personal tragedies. The responses we have received from our gifts of this blend have been heartwarming. We know from your feedback that it does provide relief from the emotional pain of dealing with tragic losses. It contains Cypress Tips - for strength. Frankincense Sacra - for the Spirit, rare Rosa Alba - for Comfort, Helichrysum - for healing emotional scars and bruises, and Melissa - for the promise of Joy. It's a beautiful blend. The rose will become stronger with time, as it is, it's balanced. woodsy, with the softness and strength of the White Rose. We hadn't planned to offer it for sale until after the new year, but with the holiday season coming we thought there might be those who need it now. Available both in undiluted synergy, and in skinsafe anointing oil.

Valour

We live in frightening times. Some of us were working on a blend for Solace...for easing grief. Rick felt called to craft a blend for Spiritual Courage. We agreed; we all felt in need of that. He first blended Cedarwood, and Rosemary, Thyme, Rose and Melissa. It was lovely...reminded me of the top of a tree, widespread and airy...but too light and open...it needed deepening. It needed roots...but with what...not my beloved Vetiver this time.... and the inspiration struck both of us simultaneously...Spikenard, the sacred root. Aromatically, it is crisp and green, but not a young green...a stalwart, ancient green...and inhaling it makes the knot in my stomach go away.This is one of the blends that I can feel, when I sit and inhale it...up and down and around my spine, supporting and strengthening me. Another friend says the blend makes her feel safe and protected, free to do whatever she needs to without fear. Rick's gift to all who need it.
