This is the sweetest "lemony" oil we have ever experienced! I thought of Lemon Ade, Christi thought of Lemon Jelly Beans. As sweet as candy. (I'm told that at one time in Australia it was used to flavor "lemon cordial," an Australian version of our Lemonade. I can well believe it.

I am told that it has antibacterial properties, although not as powerfully antbacterial as Tea Tree or Lemon Myrtle. I can see it shining as a sunshiny mood elevator. We fell in love and had to have some! Having fallen in love, I had to research it.

Unlike the Eucalyptus oils chosen for their respiratory effects, high in 1.8 cineole, Lemon Ironbark oil is composed of geranial, methyl geranate, geranyl acetate, limonene, phellandrene, neral, terpinolene and geraniol. It may be a skin irritant, so I would prefer to use it in the diffuser. If using topically, please use in very low dilution.

I have seen it recommended as a sedative and a calming stress reliever. In the winter it would be useful in the diffuser because it is said to be both anti-viral and anti-infectious.

If the more commonly recommended anti-viral and anti-bacterial oils are too medicinal for your taste, add a bit of Lemon Ironbark to your germkilling blend and bring in a touch of aromatic sunshine. Blends well with: Cedarwood, Lemon, Lavender, Marjoram, Pine, Rosemary, and Thyme.

The most freshly scented Ginger oil ever. In the past we discontinued the Ginger CO2 we had stocked because it was so intensely hot we didn't feel it was safe to use. This total CO2 extract is delightful..warming, but not burning.

The producer especially recommends it as an antinausea agent, for morning sickness, motion sickness, or post surgical nausea. We also use it in pain relief blends to stimulate circulation.
