Air Synergy
SPIRIT, an elemental blend.
As part of our Elementals Offering (earth air, fire and water) we have offered "Spirit" an Air Synergy for perhaps 10 years. But, as sometimes happens, changes in the origin of some ingredients, and changes in the person blending brought about a change in the synergy. It no longer "felt" light and airy...and I didn't like the aroma. I asked a gifted and talented Magikal Blender, Rae Keegan of HerbMajicks to help out. The results were amazing...
This synergy is a blend of organic Artemisia and Clary, Niaouli, fragrant Black Spruce, anchored with Benzoin Absolute. It shouldn't work. That combination of oils shouldn't give such a lightsome effect... but it does!
The only way I can describe it is physically..with both arms up and outstretched... Like a child showing "Sooooooo big!". Light and airy in aroma, it seems to evoke a sense of openness and freedom. I fell in love!

Autumn Sunshine Synergy 5 ml
An Autumn Equinox Blend: For many, Autumn signals the fullness of the Harvest. For others, in the circle of the year, the equinox with its balance of light and darkness gives us a moment of balance before the darkness of winter. For ME, it brings back memories of my New England childhood...I get homesick every Autumn.
In our new Autumn Equinox Blend, we have tried to capture the memories of New England Autumns, pumpkins ripening on the vines, baskets of green MacIntosh Apples ready to turn into pies and sauce, scuffing through piles of dried leaves on the way to and from school, the crisp deep blue of the Fall sky, and, somewhere in the distance, a trace of smoke as a neighbor burned his leaves.
For ritual celebrations of the Equinox and throughout Autumn, enjoy our Autumn Sunshine.

Meditation
We've been experimenting for months with a meditation blend....and finally think we have it just right. Rare Oud (agarwood) from India, three different Frankincense oils, Atlas and Himalayan Cedarwoods and our beautiful Sandalwood, all oils that are believed to enhance the meditative state. We strongly recommend using this synergy in the aromalamp, a diffuser just is too much. Please do not use before driving or operation dangerous machinery. We won't be responsible for the results. Those who have tested it have had intriguing results. A must have for all who practice meditation as a part of their spiritual path, for stress relief, for insight and inspiration.

Metal Synergy
ALLOY, an elemental blend. Many oriental traditions focus on five elements, rather than four... Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood. In honor of the circle of five, we have added two other Elementals, Metal and Wood.
A flat, metallic blend of oils believed to effect the respiratory system, including Frankincense, Niaouli, Hyssop and others. On an emotional level this has the possibility of unlocking ancient, deep-seated grief.

Protection
Debi says that all energy workers have an area of expertise, and for years, hers has been Protection. Ever since she developed our Sacred blend, she has wanted to include a Protection blend...having sanctified a space, one must protect it against all negative emotions and influences. She started work on the Protection blend well before the events of September, but determined to ready it as soon as possible. Aromatically, it is a complex yet light floral blend, energetically....I'll let her describe it:
"For me, to be spiritually protected is the particular feeling of calm required to face the unknown without fear...to feel surrounded by an impenetratable blanket of light. I know this feeling well after many years of working in the Spirit world. This blend was designed to manifest this feeling." Available in undiluted synergy, or skin-safe anointing oil.

Sacred
Debi, our Resident Wise Woman, decided to create herself a sacred, sanctifying blend, for use in rituals of various types. She blended her favorite Native American aromatics, Cedar and Sage (using our Atlas Cedar and our French Sage, she says it's the spirit that counts!), Frankincense and Myrrh, and a bit of Tuberose Absolute. She didn't know WHY the tuberose, except that she knew it was necessary. After finishing the blend, she decided to research the oils she had intuitively chosen, and found that Tuberose is used for spiritual and psychic protection. We added some Sandalwood, sacred oil of the East, and decided to offer the blend to you both as a synergy, and as an anointing oil in a Jojoba base. Created and bottled by one of the strongest spirits I know, with conscious intent to sanctify and strengthen all those who receive it.

Spring Sunshine NEW
For years we had offered a synergy to celebrate the coming of Spring, but over time, with different "raw materials" from different distillers, it changed into something that I didn't like. We've redesigned it into a blend that, to us, feels like the freshness and promise of Springtime. Essential oils of Lavender and Bergamot, the green leafiness of Petitgrain, Palma Rosa and Cassie Absolute for subtle floral notes, along with a touch of Spruce Needle and Artemisia combine to create a light and lifting welcome to Spring Time. Use to celebrate the Vernal Equinox or your very own Rites of Spring. Available undiluted for lamp or diffuser, or in a skinsafe dilution for use as an anointing oil.

Summer Sunshine
On June 21st, we will be celebrating Midsummer Day, the longest day and shortest night of the year. In pagan times, this festival marked the beginning of the harvest period. Some of the early crops, such as corn, and many herbs are now ready for harvest, as are some fruits. It is the time when the sun reaches it's zenith, and is the height of power for the Sun God, who now begins to wane.
Elementally, this is a Fire festival. So the oils we use are those that correspond to the element of Fire, the direction of the South, the season of Summer, the energy of Action. Interestingly enough, these are primarily flowers and spices, all of which would be associated with the height of summer and the feeling of heat.
Oils associated with the Summer Solstice are: Basil, Calendula, Clove, Ginger, Lime, Neroli, Orange, Petigrain and Rosemary.... all associated with the heat of midsummer.
Our Summer Solstice blend conjures images of hot summer days, followed by sultry summer nights. It's rich and spicy, with just a hint of sweetness...we've added just a cooling touch of mint, and the sweetness of vanilla...a delightful reminder, to one friend, of sitting on a porch swing on the hottest day of summer, sipping a frosty mint julip..

Tabernacle Anointing
A Biblical Blend from Exodus 30..."Take thou also sweet spices, of pure myrrh and sweet cinnamon, and of sweet calamus and of cassia and of olive oil....and ...it shall be a holy anointing oil." We have found the purest oils of these sweet spices, and blended them in the proportions given us in Exodus. Available only in anointing oil blended in Extra Virgin Olive Oil..
Please be aware that the Cinnamon Bark and the Cassia in this blend are both strong irritants and sensitizers. The olive oil based anointing oil should be used with caution. Avoid use on broken or irritated skin.

Three Kings
The Magi's gift....Bulgarian legend has it that the Gold that was the Gift of the Three Kings was not the cold hard metal, but rather Liquid Gold, Bulgarian Rose Otto. We have created a blend to enrich your Christmas rituals, or for whenever you want to give a very special gift. Indian Frankincense, Myrrh, and Rose Otto undiluted or in a base of Jojoba for its longlasting qualities. I have a wee bit of the last year's version of this holy blend left over, and it smells better than ever. I regret putting it aside, I could have enjoyed it throughout the year! The anointing oil is a gentle, skinsafe dilution, ready for ritual or sacramental uses, or for skincare, the bath, or even just to wear as a perfume.

Valour
We live in frightening times. Some of us were working on a blend for Solace...for easing grief. Rick felt called to craft a blend for Spiritual Courage. We agreed; we all felt in need of that. He first blended Cedarwood, and Rosemary, Thyme, Rose and Melissa. It was lovely...reminded me of the top of a tree, widespread and airy...but too light and open...it needed deepening. It needed roots...but with what...not my beloved Vetiver this time.... and the inspiration struck both of us simultaneously...Spikenard, the sacred root.
Aromatically, it is crisp and green, but not a young green...a stalwart, ancient green...and inhaling it makes the knot in my stomach go away. This is one of the blends that I can feel, when I sit and inhale it...up and down and around my spine, supporting and strengthening me. Another friend says the blend makes her feel safe
and protected, free to do whatever she needs to without fear. Rick's gift to all who need it.

Winter Sunshine
Many cultures the world over perform solstice ceremonies. At their root: an ancient fear that the failing light would never return unless humans intervened. On the shortest day of the year the ancients and followers of earthbased religions celebrate, in faith, the return of the light. This start of the solar year is a celebration of Light and the rebirth of the Sun. In old Europe, it was known as Yule, from the Norse, Jul, meaning wheel. We have redesigned our Winter Sunshine synergy, to make it more in keeping with the ancient celebration of the solstice. Notes of evergreen and mandarine with the underlying strength of rosewood. This spirit brightening blend is also designed to overcome the midwinter doldrums, to bring light to darkness. An important blend for those practicing earth based religions.
