Angelica archangelica English, Organic

This lighter seed oil lacks the deep musk note of angelica root oil.
Energetically it feels more feminine, while the root oil is
masculine. Less earthy in aroma, with a light, fruity/spice note,
this seed oil is a top or middle note, rather than the base note of
the root oil. All my sources tend to lump the therapeutic
effects of the two angelica oils together, however the difference in
aroma leads me to believe that there have to be very different
emotional and physical effects. (I hate it when the authorities lack
clarity!) Schnaubelt specifically seems to be removing angelica
seed oil for removal of uric acid in treating gout, arthritis, etc. |

In my opinion and experience, Angelica SEED oil is far less
grounding, and a bit more stimulating than the root oil described
earlier. I continue to search for more information, or for
feedback from those who use it. Although some sources indicate
that both angelica root oil and angelica seed oil are phototoxic,
more recent sources indicate that angelica seed oil should not be a
photosensitizer since it does not contain furocoumarins.
