Where do they come from?

How do I use them?

Add to creams and lotions: melt and add to the oil phase of a cream or lotion. The floral wax will add a bit of thickness and body, as well as its exotic scent.

Add to cold process soap, for a true, natural rose, jasmine or other exotic. In my experience, even though added at the low rate we add natural fragrances to soap, the addition of the waxes tends to yield a slightly harder bar. The deeply colored waxes will also add a hint of color to your soap base.

Measuring tip: If you need just a few grams for a recipe, pop the block of wax out of its jar, and shave off a few curls with a potato peeler, add to your warming carrier oils.

Other Waxes For your formulating and compounding.
	Beeswax Beads I love the scent of natural beeswax. And when I have time to make salves, balms and creams, I use a lot of it. But MELTING a solid chunk of beeswax to produce 1 teaspoon of melted beeswax takes forever. It won't grate on my grater, it ate the food processor shredding blade. So, I compromised and bought the beeswax beads that are readily available if you are interested in a large amount. If, however, you are interested in a SMALL amount, to make just a wee pot or two of solid perfume, try your first beeswax and borax thickened cream, or a healing balm, we can offer small quantities of these handy little beads. 	Emulsifying Wax We all know that oil and water won't mix. Emulsifying wax is the little wonder that, melted into warming oils, will allow you to whip in hydrosols, water, herbal teas to form your own creams and lotions. I've read the chemistry of it and almost understand it. This is the secret of the face creams that I make. All vegetable based. Again, you can order E-wax in much larger quantities at a more attractive price from many sources, but if you are just starting your exploration and would like perhaps an ounce or two to experiment with some Aromatic Alchemy creams or lotions, we'll be glad to supply it. 4 oz (Ingredients:Cetearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, PEG-150 Stearate & Steareth-20.)  As is shown in the ingredients list, Emulsifying Wax NF is obviously not a natural botanical product.
