It's the time of year that our producers are producing and we are
stocking up. Every day the FedEx truck brings us new supplies of
old favorites, and, occasionally, new products that we fell in love
with. Some of these returning products hadn't been marked
out of stock online yet because we had a small handful of retail sizes
left, but believe me, supplies were VERY limited. We now can make
available bulk sizes and wholesale pricing once again. ALSO for August,

NEW Frankincense Sacra Boswellia sacra, steam
distilled from Resin, Wildcrafted from Somalia
From our favorite Somalian distiller - the producer of our high
limonene Somalian Frankincense comes this resinous Frankincense oil.
We were running low on our popular Frankincense Somalia. It is the
favorite of the hospitals and classes that we supply, and of course
we restocked. The producer sent us another sample, and Christi
and I fell in love. A bit deeper and more resinous than the
Somalian, I think the new Frankincense Sacra would be a better
choice for meditation. I plan to try it in my respiratory
blends as well. I think it will be very effective there.

NEW CHARITY of the QUARTER
|
|
We appreciate your support
for the people of Tennessee in the wake of the natural
disaster that hit our state at the beginning of May. Now
we ask you to join us in giving what we can to help
those most affected by the manmade disaster in the Gulf
of Mexico.
As the devastation of the
oil spill continues to unfold, it is apparent our
neighbors in the Gulf region will desperately need our
help for some time to come. For this reason we've chosen
the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) as our new charity
of the quarter. The team at the Environmental Defense
Fund has worked in the Gulf for many years and is aware
of its unique needs. They are on the ground now working
with federal, state, and local agencies in a variety of
capacities which includes immediate recovery efforts as
well as long term planning for restoration of the area.
Formed in 1967, the EDF's
mission is, "to link science, economics, and law to
create innovative, equitable, and cost-effective
solutions to society's most urgent environmental
problems. They are dedicated to protecting the
environmental rights of all people, including future
generations, and fighting for clean water and air and
preserving precious ecosystems. The fund is known for
its non-partisan and fair approach to its work.
The EDF is on the front
lines of this disaster making a difference. The charity
garners high ratings on both Charity Watch &
Charity Navigator for its important environmental
work.
