NATURE'S GIFT ULTRA MILD
FOAMING FACE WASH

A light blend of the mildest botanically sourced surfactants, for deep yet extremely gentle cleansing for the most sensitive and/or reactive skins.

Our Ultra Mild Foaming Wash is a mild "wash off" cleanser for sensitive skin or normal/oily skin where a cream cleanser may be too rich. It provides extraordinarily gentle yet thorough deep cleansing without the use of harsh surfactants or parabens. Our cleansing and softening ingredients are safe for babies and delicate or reactive skin.  May be used to remove make-up without risk to eyes.

Pre-moisten skin and apply a small amount by massaging into skin with circular strokes emphasizing gentle upward pressure.  Remove with several warm splashes of water followed by cool water splash.  Follow by toning with your favorite toner.

We have chosen, at this time, not to add any extra ingredients to this gentle cleanser. If you know your skin thrives on certain essential oils or blends, you may safely add from 12 to 24 drops of your chosen essential oil to this four ounce container. Please stir very well to ensure even blending of your chosen additives.

See below for complete list of ingredients.

Ingredients:  water, disodium laureth sulfosuccinate, lauramidopropyl betaine, cocamidopropyl pg-dimonium chloride, glycerin, sucrose cocoate, Rosa damascena (rose) water, Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) gel, Plantago major (plantain) extract, Tilia cordata (linden) flower extract, hydroxyethylcellulose,   gluconolactone and sodium benzoate

Ingredient Definitions:

Surfactants: Short for 'SURFace ACTive AgeNT' - a molecule that lowers suface tension. These molecules contain both hydrophobic and hydrophilic components and are thus semi-soluble in both oils and water. Surfactants are the active ingredients in soap, since the hydrophobic component sticks to grease and dirt while the hydrophilic section sticks to the water, making it easy to rinse away excess oils and dirt.  The problem is, most surfactants, including all natural soap, may be harsh or drying to sensitive skin.  We have chosen the gentlest known botanically based surfactants to gently cleanse the most sensitive skin.

Phospholipids: Plant phospholipids from fatty acids are hypoallergenic and are highly effective anti-bacterial ingredients. Our are derived from Coconut.
Disodium laureth sulfosuccinate - an extremely mild surfactant derived from Coconut oil.

Lauramidopropyl betaine  - a foam booster, thickener, mildness enhancer - derived from natural Palm Kernel Oil

Cocamidopropyl pg-dimonium chloride - A phospholipid complex derived from pure coconut oil. It is completely compatible with the natural lipids (fats) found in the epidermal layers of the skin. It has a broad range of functions for gentle cleansing, skin conditioning and anti-microbial.

Sucrose cocoate   - a natural soap (or surfactant) derived from sugar cane and coconut oil. It is a cleansing agent and an emollient.Sucrose cocoate provides moisturizing and gentleness. It is especially mild and non-drying. It also enhances the foam of a product.  An emulsifier employed in emollient, skin-moisturizing cosmetic formulations, contains a mixture of sucrose esters of coconut fatty acids. Sucrose cocoate is an extremely mild, nonionic cleanser made entirely from sugar cane and coconut oil. It is a sophisticated ingredient, which has powerful anti-irritant properties.

Hydroxyethylcellulose  - a natural gelling and thickening agent derived from plant materials and used as a substitute for carbomers which are petrochemically derived.

Gluconolactone and sodium benzoate - a naturally derived (from corn) preservative system with proven skincare benefits.
